since the natural aging process continues, some patients may require a

Most patients experience minimal discomfort. Surgical procedures are
performed under local anesthesia, making them virtually painless. Minimally
invasive methods are even gentler.
You can typically return to daily activities within a few days. Mild
swelling and bruising may occur but usually subside within one to two weeks.
Wearing sunglasses can help protect the eye area during the initial healing
phase.
In traditional eyelid surgery, the incision is made along the natural eyelid
crease, making the scar barely visible. Minimally invasive techniques leave
no visible scars.
The final results become visible after a few weeks, once the swelling has
completely subsided. With minimally invasive methods, improvements can often

Yes, if severely drooping eyelids obstruct your vision, a correction can

As with any procedure, risks exist but are rare. Possible side effects
include mild bruising, swelling, or temporary dry eyes. With modern
techniques and experienced specialists, risks are kept to a minimum.
Eyelid correction is generally considered a cosmetic procedure and is not
covered by health insurance. However, if a significant visual impairment can
be documented, coverage may be considered in some cases.
